About Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District

The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) is a public school district proudly serving 12,500 students, pre-Kindergarten through 12th. With eight elementary, two K-8, and three middle schools feeding into two comprehensive high schools, we deliver a rigorous and robust standards-based education, infused with enrichment and technology. We boast an alternative high school, independent study, and an Adult Education program so that every student finds a niche and is college and career-ready. Ensuring “each student will graduate with the skills needed to contribute and thrive in a changing world” is the established mission of our Board of Trustees.

Our increasingly diverse student population is a motivating factor for staff to challenge themselves to provide exceptional education to all students. In all facets of our work, District personnel commit to Inform, Include, Inspire and Innovate, delivering an outstanding 21st century education for Livermore’s children.
