The Menninger Clinic assesses & treats adolescents & adults with severe & complicated psychiatric disorders that may include addictive disorders. Treatment focuses on the needs of each patient in the areas of physical, emotional interpersonal, and spiritual health. For family members, the staff includes them in family therapy & provides coaching that will support their loved one's recovery. Menninger has expanded treatment options in Houston, including The Gathering Place, a psychosocial clubhouse, located a mile from our hospital; Pathfinder, a transition program to help adults integrate back into the community & to live independently.
Menninger also provides outpatient services to children/adolescents at three of TX Children's Pediatric Associates' clinics & for all ages at Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine, Menninger is a primary teaching & research hospital. Our mission is to be a leading national center for advancement of mental health treatment through research & professional education.
